The Engineering Department at the University of Cambridge celebrates INWED18
On Thursday 21 June 2018 the Engineering Department of the University of Cambridge celebrated International Women in Engineering Day 2018 with a department-wide spotlight on inspirational women in the department.
The main event was a celebratory strawberries and cream tea, with a welcome presentation from Dr Claire Barlow, Deputy Head of Department (Teaching). Attendees discussed what the Department is doing to improve the working environment for all members, and shared stories of their own inspirational women in Engineering.
