Dr Nicki Ward from the University of Birmingham have recently compiled ‘LGBTQ - inclusivity in the higher education curriculum: a best practice guide’ bringing together the first hand experiences of its own teachers and LGBT students to create a more inclusive environment. The guide demonstrates the importance of a fully inclusive curriculum and the impact that it can have on students and teachers. It provides practical information to create the changes that can and will make a difference.
The Inclusive Curriculum guidance combines theoretical developments in pedagogy with the experience of students and students from all academic disciplines.
