Inclusive Recruitment
Departmental Memberships:
The Department of Engineering has a partnership with the Women's Engineering Society.
As a Women's Engineering Society partner, we can have 5 jobs advertised at any one time. If you have a role that you feel would benefit from utilising the WES network and job board for targeted advertising, specifically thinking about Senior Technical and Academic positions, please do contact the Department's HR team to enquire.
If you would like to enquire about targeted advertising, they can also include jobs in their careers newsletter, and in this case, share with their Education Special Interest Group for research and academic roles.
University Resources:
For further information on our approach to inclusive recruitment, please refer to the University's Recruitment and Selection Policy and associated guidance, which outline our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion at every stage of the hiring process.
Please utilise the University's Inclusive Recruitment Framework.
To support fair, consistent and inclusive recruitment practices, colleagues involved in recruitment are strongly encouraged to complete the University's recruitment training before participating in a recruitment process. The training provides guidance on best practice, helps promote equitable decision-making and ensures alignment with University policies and procedures.
